BITTOO BOSS:2012

This is what success does to filmmakers. With PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA doing well at the box office and now seeing a cult following on home video, especially amongst youth, the makers have launched another young film that has been interestingly titled BITTOO BOSS. The movie has already gone on floors and yet again, it would be an all-new affair, what with the director as well as the lead actor being a debutant. Produced by Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak (who was also behind PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA), this film too is a light hearted affair and promises to tell a story hitherto untold.
"We want to sell concepts, stories and cinema that entertain the audiences. BITTOO BOSS is yet another movie, with a lot of new faces and a story that is the real star of the movie," says Kumar Mangat Pathak.
Film's first look is out and is as unconventional as it gets, what with a video camera occupying centre stage and a sehra over it. It also comes with an interesting tagline - '2012 Mein Sabki Legaa...BITTOO BOSS'- even though face of the leading man, Bittoo, is not shown to the audience. One wonders what is prompting the makers to experiment newcomers, as was earlier evident in case of PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA too that had a debutant starcast and director.
"Well, we are not selling stars here and our belief that 'audience wants a good story' was strengthened with the success of PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA," continues Pathak, "We are sure that BITTOO BOSS would be the blockbuster of 2012."
Presented by Viacom 18 and produced by Wide Frame Pictures, BITTOO BOSS is currently being directed by debutant Supavitra Babul.
